Distribution |
Recorded in the Australian region from Seal Rocks, NSW, and Norfolk Island in the Tasman Sea. The species occurs elsewhere in northern New Zealand. Inhabits clear coastal reefs on vertical rock faces with narrow cracks and sea urchins. |

Feeding |
Carnivore - feeds on copepods, mollusc eggs and hydroids on the bottom. |
